To qualify for Low Income Housing, the
eligibility income limits are: |

2 Persons -$25,350 |

Rent is based on income and is approximately 30 % of that amount.
Rent is subject to annual review. Rent subsidies
are financed through the Department of HUD.

Houston, Minnesota, is a small community of just over 1000 residents. It is easy to walk to the downtown area and walk into a grocery store, bank, hair salons, dentist, insurance agencies, gas stations, library, parks, and more. Within the city limits are four
churches and directly across the street from Valley View Manor is a clinic
that is opened five days a week. Meals on Wheels are available for the
noon meal as is bus transportation to the grocery store, post office, and
senior citizen noon meal at the local community center.
